MANA is a national organization that empowers Latina women through leadership development, community service, education, and advocacy. The organization works to strengthen opportunities for Latinas and their families by supporting educational attainment, professional growth, cultural pride, and civic engagement.

MANA del Norte, a local chapter of MANA National was established in 1989 and advances educational attainment in Northern New Mexico by:

• Providing scholarships and educational support for Northern New Mexico women pursuing higher education.

• Promoting leadership and mentorship opportunities for Latina women and youth.

• Encouraging community involvement and cultural awareness.

• Supporting professional development and networking among members.
   

Since 1989, MANA del Norte has awarded $257,000 in scholarships!
