Thirty years (1989) ago a group of Latinas sharing common interests founded MANA del Norte. MANA del Norte is a nonprofit 501c3 organization, which serves as a voice and resource for Latinas in the northern NM counties of: Los Alamos, Mora, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe, San Miguel, and Taos.
Meet the Board of Directors
Anissa is a native Santa Fean and has worked for the nonprofit community in Santa Fe for over 10 years. She currently serves as the Scholarship Program Manager for the New Mexico Simon Scholars Program, where she manages the college scholarships and works to support scholars through their college journey. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. In addition to serving as secretary for MANA del Norte, Anissa is also co-chair of the 2019 Scholarship Committee. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family.
Jaclyn grew up in Nambe, New Mexico and currently resides in Santa Fe. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Science degree in Biostatistics from the University of Arizona. She specializes in statistical analysis and forecasting and is interested in improving program outcomes through the application of data analysis. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, playing tennis, and spending time with her family and two dogs. Jaclyn is new to MANA as she joined in December 2017, she is excited for the opportunity to make a difference and work with the ladies within MANA.
Vice President of Membership
Nichole was a MANA del Norte scholarship recipient in 2004 and has been a long-time member of MANA del Norte and has served on the board in various positions which include; Board President, Vice-President, Public Relations Coordinator and Secretary. Nichole was recently elected to serve on the MANA National Board. She received a BA in Secondary Education and a MA in Education Administration with a focus on at-risk youth at the College of Santa Fe. Nichole also holds a SHRM-CP and PHR certification. When she’s not volunteering she is enjoying the Pecos wilderness with her family and taking photographs of whatever catches her fancy.
